The Founders’ Dinner kicks off our fundraising year by honoring the individuals who created our foundation. The 2017 Dinner will be held at 7 pm, September 22, at Starmount Country Club.
Guest Speaker: Special guest Cleve Jones, funder of the AIDS Memorial Quilt, will be the key note speaker.
Mr. Jones created the AIDS Memorial Quilt which is the world’s largest piece of community folk art. He is also the founder of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation which has grown into one of the largest and most influential advocacy organizations in the United States. He was featured prominently in the movie Milk and is the author of “When We Rise: My Life in the Movement” which was made into a TV miniseries.
