COVID-19 Vaccines
We are encouraging everyone who is able to get a vaccine when your group comes up. NC is currently vaccinating Groups 1-4, which include health care workers, long-term care staff and residents, adults aged 65 and older, frontline essential workers, and adults with higher risk medical conditions or in congregate settings.

We are partnering with Elon Law and the UNCG Office of Intercultural Engagement to offer another FREE virtual LGBTQ Name Change Clinic on Saturday, February 27. This event is targeted to those in the transgender and gender non-binary communities who are looking to change their name.

Yesterday was a historic day for equality as we witnessed the inauguration of the most pro-equality President in history and the first female and first woman of color Vice President. Hours after taking the oath of office Biden signed an executive order directing federal agencies to implement the U.S. Supreme Court’s historic Bostick v. Clayton County decision. The ruling declared that anti-LGBTQ discrimination is a form of sex discrimination, thus illegal in the workplace.
