The Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship is a mixed-use small business incubator. Targeted to serve the needs of service and manufacturing firms, NCFE offers modestly priced space and shared support facilities, along with business and technical assistance through a network of 7 in-house partners. NCFE also functions as a “virtual” incubator, providing a variety of services designed to ensure small business growth and success.
NCFE focuses on businesses that are growing and require scalable resources. The primary programming initiative is the residency offered to small businesses by the incubator as well as the services it provides to local entrepreneurs. Businesses located within the incubator have immediate access to 7 entrepreneur partner organizations as well as the experts employed by the Center.
While the Center offers standard education and training opportunities, much of the work provided is customized to each small business owner or entrepreneur to ensure that they are being met where they are within the business growth cycle. Residency in the incubator also provides businesses access to scalable affordable office space, limited manufacturing space due to current fire code restrictions and a vast network of graduates and professionals.
