Friends

Friendship matters.

It was a small group of friends who created Guilford Green Foundation. And because of friends like you, we continue to create real, sustainable change in the local LGBTQ community so that people feel safe to live their authentic lives.

Everyday people come through the doors of the LGBTQ Center looking for a safe, affirming place to connect and find resources. More than 800 people visited or called the center in its first six months. Local programs, that you help fund, continue to support LGBTQ youth, seniors and transgender people. Each year the foundation receives over $125,000 in grant requests.

As we increase our outreach and impact, more people reach out for help. That’s why we need your support more than ever. We need your help to provide the programs and resources our LGBTQ friends are asking for. This year, our goal is to raise $85,000 to meet these critical needs.

We’ve already made a great start, bringing in $48,000 from generous donors thanks, in part, to the wonderful kick off event hosted by Michael and Franklin Graves and sponsored by WiFi Wine Bar & Shoppe and Rickety Bridge Winery.

But we’ve still got work to do. Will you help?

Will you help fund programs, including the LGBTQ Center, so that we can meet these needs?
