The Golden Gays™ quickly emerged as the premier Golden Girls musical experience in the country with the perfect musical drag show for the whole family! GG™ for short, they burst onto the scene in 2017- first at RuPaul’s DragCon NYC, then at the famed Rue La Rue Café, where their trivia show video went viral. What began as a flash mob has now skyrocketed to sold-out engagements all across America and on the high seas.

Meet the Cast

The Golden Gays™ are highly regarded as “the best in their field”, elevating The Golden Girls drag legacy to the next level by creating one-of-a-kind original musical parody adventures – paying tribute to the show that fans know and love, as well as highlighting the talents of the cast. The show stars Christopher Eklund as Blanche, Gerry Mastrolia as Rose and Jason B. Schmidt as Dorothy. Their tight three-party harmonies, innovative choreography and camp direction bring each production to the next level.

I’m sure by now you’re asking yourselves, “Where in the world is Sophia Petrillo”? She’s gone missing! The Golden Gays™ must travel down the road and back again to find her. GG™ has created a truly unique fan experience by inviting them to be a PART of the journey. In every show, the plot revolves around finding Sophia and by the end one (or more) lucky audience member is selected and crowned the next #TokenSophia!
VIP ticket holders get a special Meet & Greet with the cast and have their picture taken with the wig, the glasses, and the signature handbag (perfect for social media sharing).
