Virtual Town Hall: Protecting Guilford County’s Vote and the 2020 Elections
The LGBTQ Democrats of Guilford County and the LGBTQ Democrats of NC will host their rescheduled 2020 Elections Virtual Town Hall on Tuesday, June 23, 6:30-8:00pm. The non-partisan Town Hall will focus on voter education, voter participation and voter protection in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Knowledgeable panelists will share what activities and actions are underway to ensure that we have the ability to exercise our right to vote in the upcoming and critical General Election this November, including information on mail-in-ballots, expanded early voting sites, and the challenges and potential solutions for having a sufficient number of poll workers and appropriate voter protections. Participants will also learn what members of the LGBTQ Community, their Allies and all concerned voters can do to help.
