October 21st 10-12 pm CampOUT: REI The Shops at Friendly Center
Join Guilford Green Foundation for CampOUT Saturday, October 21st 10 am-12 pm at REI located at The Shops at Friendly Center 334 West Friendly Ave. Suite 140 for a Camping 101 Event facilitated by Jim Fuller, Experiences Lead REI Greensboro. Jim is an active camper and has been camping since the 1960s. He’s logged over 5,500 miles as a backpacker and has camped, literally, hundreds of nights. He’s been teaching for over 30 years and now, through REI, has been presenting on topics involving the outdoors since 2017. This Camping 101 Event is open to all regular attendees of CampOUT and will serve as a precursor to Guilford Green Foundation & LGBTQ Center’s annual overnight CampOUT Event Friday, November 4th-Saturday, November 5th at Hagan-Stone Park.
