
August 2nd QTBIPOC Night: Attorney Dara Arroyo-Longoria
If you are Latinx and identify as LGBTQ+ and need counsel related to removal defense and LGBTQ asylum, join Attorney Dara Arroyo-Longoria on August 2nd 6-8 pm at Guilford Green Foundation & LGBTQ Center located at 121 N. Greene St. Greensboro, NC 27401. Dara Arroyo-Longoria, a Latina and LGBTQ attorney, was born and raised in Puerto Rico and is fluent in Spanish and English. Attorney Arroyo-Longoria practices all aspects of immigration law, with a focus on humanitarian immigration benefits including asylum, special immigrant juvenile status, and removal defense. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) with degrees in Business Administration and International Studies. During her time at UNCW, she was a founder of the university’s Alpha Psi Lambda National, Inc chapter, an organization that focuses on advocating for the Hispanic & Latinx communities. Attorney Arroyo-Longoria later received her Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law where she served as the Vice President for the Hispanic and Latinx Law Student Association (HLLSA) and as a Pro Bono Coordinator for Elon’s Pro Bono Board. Passionate about giving back to the community, Dara volunteered with Elon’s Humanitarian Immigration Clinic, DACA Clinics, and Name Change Clinics supporting the trans community. She remains dedicated to supporting her local communities.
