BYP100’s 5 D’s of De-Escalation: Hosted by the YWCA
The YWCA is excited to invite you to our FREE community-wide de-escalation training, facilitated by the Durham chapter of Black Youth Project 100 (BYP100) on Thursday, November 21, 6:00-8:00pm. BYP100 is having this training to address the gender-based violence experienced by Black women, femmes, girls, and gender non-conforming people. This training equips participants with five tangible skills to intervene in violence happening in our local community. This training builds upon BYP100’s #SheSafeWeSafe national campaign, and offers an alternative to relying on law enforcement to keep our communities safe. We encourage all community members to attend this event so that as providers and resources for our community, we are better able to protect those we serve and hold ourselves accountable, ultimately aiming to end gender-based violence in Greensboro. Dinner and childcare will be provided!
