April 22nd CampOUT: Downtown Greensboro Parks
Saturday, April 22nd 11:00 am – noon meet at GGF 121 N Greene St, Greensboro, NC 27401 to join us on Earth Day as we explore Downtown Greensboro to see how the city and environment come together at LeBauer & Center City Parks. CampOUT is dedicated to creating inclusive outdoor experiences for the LGBTQ community to connect with each other and nature. Events are open to everyone that wants to explore the outdoors, even if you’ve never hiked, biked, kayaked or camped. This CampOUT is organized by a volunteer. Jack Garvey has been a fan of the outdoors his whole life. Growing up with scouting, he has a lifelong connection to trails and parks around North Carolina. He has worked for the nonprofit partner of Boston Harbor Islands National and State Park. Jack was also Co-Chair of the National Park Foundation Development Leaders Network. He is excited to connect people with each other and to their public parks and open spaces. Registration is limited to 20 guests, so please update your RSVP if you can no longer attend.
