Guilford Green Foundation & LGBTQ Center grows and maintains its connections to the community in several ways, but a big one is hosting a variety of events with wide appeal. We put on several major fundraisers throughout the year to support the organization and its Grant Program, but we also host several purely social events. Join our email list and follow us Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for the latest event information.

Make History With Us!
We will celebrate our 20th Anniversary by honoring how far we’ve come — and laying the groundwork for where we will go as a community. Please join us to fete our founders and learn more about our next venture, the LGBTQ Center of Greensboro.
Meet Our Special Guest, Cleve Jones:
Jones is a human rights activist. He founded the AIDS Memorial Quilt, one of the world’s largest community arts projects that honors thousands of individuals who died of the disease. Jones was mentored by San Francisco Councilman Harvey Milk, and was portrayed in the Oscar-winning film, “MILK,” about the councilman’s life. Jones’ memoir, “When We Rise,” was published in November. In February, ABC aired a mini-series inspired by the book.
